Prior to joining Oriana’ team at PRSIR, Joan’s incredible work ethic and drive naturally led her to become involved in leadership roles in both business and personal communities alike. For over six years, Joan managed luxury residential client experiences at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, as well as served over five years as a member of the Board of Directors for a local non-profit organization, Puerto Rico Cambia, empowering local youths to inspire change. Simultaneously, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Operations & Supply Chain Management from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, graduating magna cum laude; all by age 23.

A Puerto Rico native, Joan brings an insider’s knowledge of the island’s wondrous culture, history, and climate. With her in-depth experience in the luxury residential sphere, and having worked closely with Residential and Condo Operations (HOAs), she brings vast insight into the decision-making process of purchasing a home in Puerto Rico, before, during, and after move-in. Joan firmly believes that purchasing property creates opportunities to build strong family legacies, and this belief is what fuels her passion and guides her work in the island she truly loves..

Outside of real estate, Joan loves listening to 70s music as well as spending time outdoors in nature, taking her pitbull, Lio, with her on adventure hikes within Puerto Rico’s lush landscapes of beaches, mountains, and forests. She enjoys learning about new cultures, and has taken missionary trips to places like Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and the Bahama Islands.
